About Filey... an un-spoilt gem
Filey is on the East Coast of North Yorkshire. 7 miles south of Scarborough, 8 miles away from the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and 5 miles north of Bempton Cliffs. Whitby is 26 miles along the beautiful coast.
Filey lies on a sheltered bay of gently sloping sand. To the immediate north and south of the beach are rocky area perfect for fishing and rock pooling/crabbing. Filey has a yacht club and boasts an 18 hole golf course overlooking the bay.
Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Scarborough, Bridlington and York are all within an easy distance of Filey
To the south lies the Yorkshire Wolds and to the west York, Pickering, Castle Howard and Malton.

Parking is not permitted on Station Road. Nearby streets are either “Cromwell Avenue” , “The Avenue” or “Norman Crescent” (which is one way), Parking is ‘ on street ‘ on a first come first served basis and it’s free. We cannot accept liability for loss or damage to any vehicles parked near the property.
